Cinematical has just received this exclusive image of the Transformer Ironhide from the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which arrives in theaters on June 24. But you won't have to wait until June 24 to get tickets, where you'll probably have to stand in a long line at the movie theater packed with itchy fanboys who smell like Guitar Hero. Nope, we're here to announce that advanced tickets for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen have officially gone on sale over at Moviefone. No need to fight the crowds on opening day; just purchase your ticket now and spend the extra time you're saving browsing for the perfect "Ironhide is My BFF" t-shirt. Check out a much larger and wider version of the image in the gallery below.

In the previous film, Ironhide appeared as a modified GMC Topkick C4500 pickup truck. He's Optimus Prime's oldest friend; a weapons specialist for the Autobots. He's a tough soldier who's been through many battles and suffered many injuries (see the scar on his right eye). He's a big boy who likes to play rough, and we wouldn't have it any other way. So make sure you get on over to Moviefone and purchase your tickets now. Trust me, you'll feel so much better when groups of people are complaining in the lobby that their show is sold out and you've already got your way in the door.

Okay, I know you need to pimp your corporate pals Moviefone, but really... avoid waiting in line by buying tickets ahead of time?
Nobody's waiting in line TO BUY TICKETS for more than ten minutes at any multiplex I've ever been to.
The lines? That's for folks waiting to get into the theater, and they're waiting in line because they want good seats, not those neck-wrecking distorted-view front-row corners.
People buy tickets in advance online because it's easier than making a special trip to the theater days ahead of time. And the convenience fee is right on the edge of outrageous for that reason. You know this. So why all the pimping "avoid the lines" BS? It's just lame. At least say "avoid making a special trip to the theater just to buy tickets" or something.
