Watch This: Michael Jackson and Brett Ratner Dancing to R. Kelly
Filed under: Fandom, Trailers and Clips
Obviously, when you think of Brett Ratner, the chubby fratboy who made the Rush Hour films and tried to ruin the X-Men franchise, you also think of Michael Jackson. They were like peas in a pod, those two! And on this somber day of mourning we ran across this clip of B-Rat and M.J. car-dancing to an R. Kelly song. Because why not? (Actually, while Ratner has directed music videos for Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, and others, he and Jackson never collaborated on anything. I don't know why they were friends. They probably just liked going out to strip clubs and picking up women together. Anyway, here's the clip. Enjoy.)

Am I the only person in the world that thinks the third X-Men was the best one, (and that Brian Singer is a hack)??

Michael had some big hands. There are many what ifs that could have occured. Seeing those big hands makes me wonder what if. What if he got into body building instead of plastic surgery. What if he went into acting or heck even found a new stage name and kept making those sweet tunes we all loved.

Just as a bit of trivia, I believe Ratner used 'Another Part of Me' in Rush Hour.

I'm guessing they met through Chris Tucker who was in Rush Hour which was directed by Ratner, and Chris was in one of MJ's videos.
There's a lot of home videos of MJ on youtube that show him acting goofy and being a regular person. I'll miss him.

Am I the only one that sees Michael sitting in the back seat alone? Rat-man and Mikey don't cozy up together, it's Michael being relegated to the back seat like a little boy. Sorry, it just looks odd to me. Oh well...RIP...

Michael looks very happy dancing in the back seat by himself. He's got plenty of room to move his arms and wave those beautiful long hands of his. Brett is in the passenger seat working the video cam and DVD player while a third person is doing the driving. The main thing is that Michael is enjoying a rare moment of just being himself and relaxing with his good buddy...and it makes me happy to see him this way. He's had so little personal happiness in his life and gave so much of himself to others. I adore him and will miss him forever.

Michael enjoyed acting normal and letting his guard down with people he thought he could trust. How many of us have danced in the car to a song we like at the moment? He was a musical genius and a talent that will never be rivalled. Not any time soon. I bet people will still appreciate his music 50 years from now. I hope they hold a great tribut for him soon. It is a shame that all the "bigwigs" tend to be "busy" for a proper tribute. No matter, he will always be the King of Pop.

They seem to enjoy each other company and It's just great seeing this moment of MJ and Brett together acting like kids. Michael will be missed for his musical genius. The way he danced in the car is so sexy
