Trailer Park: Legions of Abiding Wolf Men
Filed under: Trailer Trash

The Fourth Kind
Whether or not you actually believe in such things, this alien abduction thriller which is supposedly based on true events looks creepy as hell. Milla Jovovich stars and the film releases on November 6.
Legion
A motley crew of humans in an out of the way diner are the first point of attack for a band of angels who, acting upon God's orders, aim to exterminate humanity. This could be quite awesome, but this red band trailer is pretty long. I hope I haven't just seen all the good parts. The wrath of the almighty starts on January 22.
Gentlemen Broncos
Jemaine Clement stars as a science fiction writer who steals his latest book from a fan. Clement is hilarious on Flight of the Conchords and this seems like a similar brand of humor. The dramatizations of scenes from the swiped novel are priceless, and it's directed by the dude who brought us Napoleon Dynamite. This goes into limited release on October 30.
Did You Hear About the Morgans?
Romantic comedy in which a couple played by Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker find their strained relationship pushed even further when they have to join the witness protection program. The rumors start on December 11.
Law Abiding Citizen
Gerard Butler plays a man whose wife and and daughter are murdered but the killer gets off on a plea bargain. This one ups the ante by having Butler's character capable of pulling off extreme acts of vengeance even while he's in prison. You can start getting even on October 16.
House of the Wolf Man
While the big budget Wolf Man remake has been pushed back to February of 2010, this black and white nod to the Universal monster flicks of the forties looks like it might be a more faithful homage than the Del Toro film. Dracula is in there too as well as a pretty cool looking Frankenstein monster. Apparently this film is intended as an unofficial followup to Universal's House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula with Lon Chaney Jr.'s grandson Ron playing the tormented lycanthrope. Not sure how wide a release this will get, but it will be in theaters on October 1st.

the trailer for Legion was pretty impressive and left me with a "where the hell did that come from" feeling.
however, it is a well known fact that hollywood dumps there worst movies in the 1st quarter.

You said "Gentlemen Broncos" goes into limited release on October 9th, but the dates I have seen list it as going into limited release on October 30th. I would love for it to open Oct 9th. Where did you hear of the change of date? Or were you just mistaken?

As a fan of the supernatural and comic books I'm always excited when a comic is made into a film that looks good and has a bunch of actors that generally (I say generally) have good taste in scripts. I'm excited about Legion, and if there weren't so many good looking movies coming out in the fall I'd say lets skip to January now.
Speaking of films coming out in the fall does anyone know what ever happened to "Solomon Kane"? I saw that the film was at Comic Con, and I've seen the bootleg of the trailer they showed there. I have also heard rumors about an October 30th release, but still have yet to hear anything concrete. Anyone know anything?
