Megan Fox Compares Michael Bay to Hitler
Filed under: Celebrities and Controversy, Newsstand
You know, we can all chastise Katherine Heigl and her candid comments, but she doesn't hold a flame to Megan Fox. We already know that Fox has been in a verbal war with Transformers man Michael Bay. But now she's upping it a notch. In a talk with Wonderland Magazine, the uber-quotable actress was asked what her favorite and least favorite things about working with Bay were. She said:God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it's endearing to watch him. He's vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he's a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.
How she keeps escaping mortal injury while working with Bay is anyone's guess -- it seems escaping robots that turn into cars isn't her only skill. Man, I can't begin to fathom what Fox would have said if she really went loose. (And I would love to hear what she would say if she worked with David O. Russell!) I mean, she already compared him to Hitler, so who would she have compared him to if she didn't hold her tongue? Any guesses? What other bad things would she have said if she didn't bite her tongue?

Megan Fox really doesn't deserve all the media exposure she's getting.

filmsuki 9-03-2009 @ 9:33AM ... EXACTLY, she has absolutely no P.R. skills. She thinks a little bit too much of herself. What she doesn't realize is that everyone's poop stinks! Hers included. :)

AGREED - 100%. THAT BITCH IS LUCKY TO BE WORKING, AT ALL. IF SHE WASN'T SO WILLING TO EXPOSE HERSELF... NOBODY WOULD TAKE NOTICE OF HER.

After all the things Fox says about Bay, she doesn't deserve to be where she is. It takes work, hard and grueling work to do a movie. I should know because I'm a film student and she's bitching about her latest film? Maybe she should go work for Star Trek, because it's tougher for the actors and actresses having to work under all that makeup whenever they're playing an alien character. She should just be thankful and keep her mouth shut.

This is like as good as when Bay claimed he has a history of making (already big actors) famous and that's what he did for Shia, just like he did for Nicholas Cage with The Rock. Nothing beats bashing Michael Bay because the fact remains he gets worse with time and still thinks he's a great director. He's like an American Uwe Boll

Megan Fox is just doing this as a grab for attention, even though it will probably get her canned from Transformers 3. We can find other hot chicks on the street. We just need Bay to get his car dirty.
Although this war between them is getting pretty hillarious.
I can't wait for the video of Bay going "Nine Nine Nine!"
Shia LaBeof: "Oh yes yes yes!"

Didn't Bay announce he was leaving the Transformers series after the second one(actually I think he announced it before Transformers 2 even hit theaters) I think an exact quote was something like "I want to work on more serious projects, like some romance" (because he was so good at that in Pearl Harbor)
Anyways, last I heard he was moving on to a third Bad Boys movie

I'll take her role! LOL! She shouldnt be complaining in the first place, she gets paid to act and she must follow rules otherwise nobody will consider her in any movie to get her super-duper famous.

Godwin's Law means, hopefully, that we've reached the end of this tirade.
It's not like this sort of thing is new. Kubrick was notoriously evil to Shelly Duvall on the set of The Shining, but I guess we let it slide because Kubrick was Kubrick and Bay's movies have been hyper-mechanized turds, of late.

This comment isn't that bad. One comparison to Hitler and wham, no one thinks what the comparion means. She just meant he's a tyrant on the set. I think its so much worse that she says that he's an awkward shlub. The Hitler comparison is no more potent than when a teenager calls his dad Hitler.

Comparing someone very strict and dictatorial to Hitler trivializes the Holocaust. You and Megan Fox are ignorant or insensitive and uncaring!!!

If it wasn't for Michael Bay bitching on Megan Fox, Transformers probably won't be successful.

Was that a joke, because if it was that was comedy gold. Your comment should have read "If it wasn't for (nostalgic 80s babies and teens), Transformers probably wouldn't be successful.

A teenager calling her dad Hitler is exactly what this is. The things she says are hardly revelations. He's dictatorial on set, he makes her work hard at her job, and when he "turns off" he doesn't have much in common with or much to say to her.
But she does say them in frank and colorful language... which probably just sounds like normal talk if you hang around with girls who still live in high school senior mode.
