Black Friday Movie Deals: Best Buy
Our good friend and EIC Erik Davis had a very thoughtful idea for the holiday season: Why not scan the early flyers for the Black Friday sales, and report back to you -- the ravenous movie junkie -- to let you know where to find the best treats on the day after Thanksgiving? The first big brick and mortar retail store we'll be scouring for Black Friday deals is Best Buy. So grab your Reward Zone card and some kind of protective shield to fight back the horde of shoppers, for there are deals incoming!
Note: Best Buy opens its doors at 5:00am on November 27th.

25 dollars for I am Legend, sounds like a deal.

The list I read didn't specify, but I'm assuming that's for the big-box Ultimate Collector's Edition, but even then, it's not all that great of a deal.

There is nothing on there that is going to make me risk my sanity, or even life, to get in there.

I'm inclined to agree with Rueben on this one....however, this article is a pretty terrific idea and I know I appreciate it either way, so good looking out!

Best Bad Buy never has good prices. Many of their brick and mortar competitors always beat them on hardware pricing, and Amazon crushes them on Blu-ray media.
The only time Best Bad Buy comes near competing is when holiday shopping falls off due to their competition. I have more than once attempted to get Best Bad Buy to price match a non-warehouse retailer and they refused.
Just goes to show their corporate public policies are one thing, while their in-store management does something 180º. But, Best Bad Buy doesn't county on customers like me, they count on once-bitten twice shy, lazy, and often ignorant customers.
No way to overcome the cowsumers of America. But consumers buy elsewhere.

i believe that these prices are also good online, so you don't have to go into the store on Friday.
