WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE GENRE?

I always come back to drama and comedy; luckily some busy film journalist invented the term 'dramedy', and made it easier for indecisive people like myself.

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO WRITE ABOUT MOVIES?

I grew up going to the movies, so the natural progression was to get a film degree right? Imagine my surprise when I clawed my way through only to discover that I wasn't a frustrated filmmaker, I was a frustrated film critic.

WHAT'S THE CRAZIEST COMMENT YOU'VE EVER GOTTEN?

It would have to be a tie between the legions of Val Kilmer fans who took 'issue' over an offhand comment about 'Real Genius' (who knew there was a Genius fan board out there?), and the X-Files 'believer' who shared their theories about the Military-Industrial-Entertainment complex and the career trajectory of Gillian Anderson.

WHAT ARE THE BEST PERKS OF THIS GIG?

First, there are the improved inter-personal relationships now that I have a healthy outlet for my addiction to the movies and I'm not boring family and friends with my incessant chat. Plus, I'm never at a loss for conversation at a party.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WRITING FOR CINEMATICAL?

Well, I’m kind of selfish so it is that I get to count myself among some of the best film bloggers on the web -- Group hug everybody!
