Every now and then we'll throw our fanatical shirt-making friends over at Dutch Southern a little love because those cats are always coming up with some cool, refreshing and totally random movie-related t-shirt that I simply must have. Yes, I'm a movie t-shirt guy -- as are a lot of my movie bloggin' colleagues -- and there's always been this unspoken competition amongst us to see who can show up at the next film festival or set visit with the freshest, most fanboy-esque movie t-shirt. And the shirts also make for great conversation starters. In fact, I wore my John Carpenter character shirt to an Extract screening and found myself talking to Mike Judge about it for awhile as he tried to figure out which character was from which flick.
So, that being said, the peeps at Dutch have released their latest t-shirt, called Product Placement -- and basically it includes a whole bunch of fictional corporate logos from a wide array of films. Some of the company logos included on the shirt are Cyberdyne Systems (Terminator), Paper Street Soap Company (Fight Club), Spatula City (UHF), S-mart (Army of Darkness), Doc Hopper's Frog Legs (The Muppet Movie), Hudsucker Industries (The Hudsucker Proxy), ICS (Running Man) and so many more. The shirt was designed by Josh Eacret, it costs $19 and you can head after the jump for a complete list of company logos featured.

You Know You Want This 'Stock Carpenter' T-Shirt

(From SciFi Squad)
Our good friends over at Dutch Southern are always sending us their latest movie-related t-shirt designs, and so we're back pimping out another piece of their fantastic geeky film gear -- this time it's a t-shirt honoring some of John Carpenter's best. Here's the description:
"It's a stock car race featuring some of the best from John Carpenter's cannon. 1st place: Dr. Loomis driving Burton's rig, MacReady riding shotgun, Nada and Burton standing guard, and Lo Pan just seconds away from eating the Pork Chop Express. 2nd place: the Duke in his Lincoln, Starman serving as co-pilot, and Snake surfing.3rd place: Christine, manned by an Alien and a Thing with Michael Myers making an escape from Smith's Grove. And if you look close enough in their dust you'll see The Fog people, the Statue of Liberty, the Three Storms, and a jack-o-lantern."
The t-shirt was designed by Ray Frenden, and it'll set you back $20. Trust me, though, it's worth it -- I already own a few of their shirts and not only do they rock the random film coolness, but they're also extremely comfortable. Our good friends at Dutch Southern have debuted another funtastic, fanboy-esque t-shirt that you'll probably want to get your slimy little paws on immediately. Their latest shirt, titled "May the Best Prequel Win", shows the characters from the Star Trek prequel and the Star Wars prequels battling it out in colorful, cartoonish fashion. From the site description: "May the Best Prequel Win. I think it already has and anyone that's seen the new Star Trek and what Lucas shoveled out into theaters between 1999-2005 knows the victor. Here's the shirt that shows the battle: Sulu vs. Darth Maul, Spock vs. Obi Wan, Chekov vs. Jar Jar, Kirk vs. Anakin, Uhuru vs. Padme, Scotty vs. General Grievous, Bones vs. Samuel L. Jackson, and the Enterprise vs. the Death Star. Get your very own. Wear it loud, wear it proud." View a larger version of the image below.

This particular one was designed by Gimetzco, and it'll run you $20. For more info and to see Dutch Southern's entire collection, head over to their official site.

Our friends over at Dutch Southern are always sending their latest movie-related t-shirts to Cinematical headquarters, and while there's some strong competition in the random movie t-shirt business, these dudes (and dudettes?) always come through with something original and totally worthy of your hard-earned dollars. This latest shirt, titled Being Bill Murray, is by far one one of my favorite Dutch Southern creations -- and I'm sure all you Bill Murray nuts will be itching to add this to your collection.
The shirt is pretty self-explanatory, but as you can see it features several iconic Bill Murray characters like Todd DiLaMuca, Raleigh St. Clair, John Winger, Dr. Peter Venkman, Bob Harris, Nick the Lounge Singer, Ernie McCracken, Herman Blume, Grimm, Steve Zissou, Carl Spackler, and Phil Connors. Check out a larger version of the image above down below, and you can purchase this shirt (along with many others) over at the Dutch Southern website for $18.

Continuing right along with our Holiday Movie Junk series, today we have yet another batch of movie-inspired t-shirts for you to sink your wallets into. This time we're pointing you toward our good friends over at Dutch Southern, who've just debuted two new shirts (see above and below). These are the folks behind the very popular Tarantino Babies t-shirt, featuring characters from all of Quentin Tarantino's films as babies. As you can see, their new shirt, It's What's On The Inside That Counts (designed by Andrew Gregory), features a group of classic movie monster-ish characters like Rocky Dennis, Darkman, Edward Scissorhands, Rell the Cyclops and more. Additionally, they've also got a pretty sweet Death Wish t-shirt, designed by Tom Burns (check out the image down below). Both t-shirts are available in all sizes and can be purchased for seventeen bucks via the Dutch Southern website.
