Stop! Before you begin to worry -- so far this is only a pipe dream, one that suggests that one Rebecca Romijn was a stabilizing influence. It seems that ol' Uncle Jesse told The New York Daily News that he's conceptualizing a Full House feature film. John Stamos said: "I'm working on a movie idea, but it wouldn't be us playing us. I'm not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years" of the series that ran from 1987 to 1995.

He's so into the idea that he's even got casting ideas. He wants James Franco to take on his role, and he thinks Steve Carell should play Danny Tanner while Tracy Morgan plays Joey Gladstone "because he's funny." Moviefone then helped out suggesting Zac Efron as Jesse, Zach Galifianakis as Joey, Miley Cyrus as D.J., and Elle Fanning as Stephanie.

I'm going to agree with the choices -- not because I like them, but because the ideas fill me with the same repulsion the show did, so they must be on the right track. But what could Stamos be thinking? What on earth makes the story cinematic? I could maybe buy the Camerons making an uber Christian version, but would any of you actually pay money to see this? I'm just hoping that this is Stamos amusing himself by inciting rumor mayhem. But if not...

Do you think you could do better casting this ill-conceived sucker?

First we had Sarah Silverman singing about f*cking Matt Damon, then Jimmy Kimmel had his turn with Damon's BFF, Ben Affleck. Now we have something even better: octogenarian actress and Academy Award-winner Cloris Leachman (who still looks damn good, thank you very much) getting all raunchy at a Comedy Central roast for Bob "Full House" Saget, threatening to get it on with "pretty boy" John Stamos on a "filthy bean bag chair" while using her Best Supporting Actress Oscar as a strap-on. There's a mental picture that'll take weeks to get out of your brain cells.

Maybe it's just the hilarity of seeing the stately Leachman talking about going after Stamos -- or perhaps even Jon Lovitz -- and then segueing seamlessly into a bit about performing a "reach-around" on Jack Benny that makes this so funny. I can't imagine it would have the same impact being said by, say, Tilda Swinton or Cate Blanchett. Anyhow, Leachman was way funnier than all the lame jokes about Saget having sex with the Olsen twins. She's still got it -- now, if only Tarantino would cast her in something as an ass-kicking, foul-mouthed granny ...

If you were one of those people anxiously awaiting the theatrical release of Bob Sagat's March of the Penguins spoof, Farce of the Penguins, well you're crap out of the luck -- the flick will instead debut on DVD at the end of January. ThinkFilm was supposed to shovel the raunchy pic into theaters last Spring in order to take hold of the lingering buzz left by the popular documentary, but since production fell behind (to this day, it's still not done), they decided to just toss the thing onto DVD.

If you dig Sagat's warped and disgusting humor, then you should definitely enjoy Farce; a live-action comedy featuring shots of penguins mixed with narration from Samuel L. Jackson (I take it they were looking for the complete opposite of Morgan Freeman here) and a host of voiceovers from folks like Jason Alexander, Dane Cook, Whoopi Goldberg and Christina Applegate. Also, John Stamos and Dave Coulier will show up somewhere, however this Full House reunion should be kept far away from the little ones.

With the amount of talent involved here (I only listed a few names, but there are lots more), I'm surprised it's not getting a theatrical release. I wonder if ThinkFilm is pissed Sagat hasn't finished the film on time, and subsequently pulled this move in order to get back at the guy? Something feels fishy. Was anyone looking forward to seeing this in theaters, or are you just happy the film is being released at all?
