The most unusual film projects pop up in the most unexpected of places. The quick-eyed gang at /film caught a chat between Billboard and The RZA in which the musican / actor dropped a hint about a movie project he was working on. "RZA has developed a martial arts film with Hollywood pal Eli Roth called The Man with the Iron Fist, which he says has "the blessing" of his 'teacher,' Quentin Tarantino."

Rob Cohen, the master director behind such cinematic gems as Stealth, XXX, and The Fast and the Furious, is gearing up for a new action flick currently called Arrow. The story, based on a idea thought up and pitched by Cohen himself, is apparently some sort of martial arts flick, but any and all details are currently being kept secret by Warner Bros. Pictures, who will be producing the film with the help of Thunder Road.Okay, I'll admit it, I actually thoroughly enjoyed both The Fast and the Furious and XXX. I really dig a good popcorn action flick from time to time, and they both filled that need solidly. A good martial arts action flick from Cohen would probably fit into the same category for me -- fast paced action with good effects and enough of a story to hold it all together without making me think too hard about what's happening.
