Watch This: '100 Movie Spoilers in 4 Minutes'

Filed under: Action », Classics », Comedy », Drama », Sci-Fi & Fantasy », Thrillers », Mystery & Suspense », Fandom », Comic/Superhero/Geek », Remakes and Sequels », War »

"It was all a dream! It was all a dream! It was all probably a coke-induced dream!"

My friend pointed me towards this clever YouTube video by the Fine Brothers, in which the duo do exactly what they set out to: reveal one hundred movie endings within four minutes. It's like the logical extension to that spoiler T-shirt that made the rounds a while back, and while the Meg Ryan streak they demonstrate (you'll see) is telling enough (not to mention the sports movie bits), I could see them pulling pretty much off the same thing with Drew Barrymore -- not that it's their fault, more so the industry's. (Oh, and this video is pretty much exactly what I get for not having seen Wild Things by this point in my life.)

And for those so inclined as to watch the same thing, only with the brothers naked, click here and, um, enjoy. (SPOILER ALERT! They're not wearing clothes!)

ALERT: X3 Epilogue Now on YouTube!

Alright, spoiler hounds: Gather round. A clever, helpful evil, evil, needs-to-be-arrested bootlegger has posted the much-discussed epilogue from X-Men: The Last Stand on YouTube. Obviously, it's a HUUUUUUGGGEEE spoiler, so stay far away from this link if you don't want to know what the clip contains.

As John at The Movie Blog rightly points out, the best thing by far about the (very, very brief) footage is the audience reaction -- the cameraman goes completely nuts at the sound of a voice, and the crowd loses it when the screen finally goes black. Honestly, I'm not particularly interested in the movie, but hearing how incredibly stoked those people are after watching it makes me think maybe I ought to join in the fun. (Plus, looking at Hugh Jackman is rarely a bad thing.)

Anyway, go check it out, and let us know what you think (if you discuss the specifics in your comments, please use GIANT SPOILER WARNINGS).

Edit: Fox caught wind of the clip, and it's been yanked. Sorry if you missed it; drop us a line if you find it elsewhere, and we'll change the link.

Possible early look at X3

Filed under: Action », Drama », RumorMonger », Brett Ratner », Comic/Superhero/Geek », Remakes and Sequels »

First of all, be warned that there are major, major spoilers in the link below: a tipster to AICN claims to have seen a rough cut of X-Men 3, and he lays it all out in painstaking detail. Second, I'm not in a position to know if the guy actually saw the movie or not; you'll have to decide for yourselves when you read his report how plausible it is.

Now, warnings aside, if the report really is based on a screening, fans of the series and the comic might be profoundly disappointed when the film is finally released. Among other flaws, X3 reportedly has very little thematic connection to the first two films in the series, and some character traits and appearances even undergo transformations. While the plot is way too murky to possibly summarize here, the tipster has these two warnings: "FORGET WHATEVER you remember about [X-Men] and X2" and "...THIS IS STORM's movie, she is the main focus of this movie and is in about every shot." Scared yet?

In possibly better news, the report also includes a trio of pretty cool pictures of Famke Janssen as Phoenix. So, even if the movie sucks, at least she'll be badass.
