Watch This: 'Oscar Spoilers in 5 Minutes'

Filed under: Action », Classics », Comedy », Drama », Foreign Language », Independent », Music & Musicals », Romance », Thrillers », Awards », Mystery & Suspense », Fandom », Oscar Watch », War »

So long as there are movies, they will have endings, and so long as there are endings, we will have spoilers, and so long as there are spoilers, the Fine Brothers will be sure to cover the lot of 'em in a remarkably condensed span of time.

Yes, from the makers of "100 Movie Spoilers in 4 Minutes" comes all Best Picture winners (and this year's nominees) spoiled in 5! That's right, five glorious minutes of all the action, intrigue, romance, Crash-bashing and Milk-mocking one could possibly ask for -- and yet again, clothing is optional. (Even Meg Ryan's back in the mix!) And if you think Hitchcock didn't want late moviegoers to know the ending of his films, it's a good thing he didn't see these videos.

I admittedly went with some selective muting when watching the earlier portion (sorry if we haven't all seen How Green Was My Valley), but the provided trivia up top and take-offs later on were welcome still. Kudos, you brothers from an entirely different mother I don't hardly know myself, for keeping even the spoiler-wary entertained.

"It was all a dream! It was all a dream! It was all probably a coke-induced dream!"

My friend pointed me towards this clever YouTube video by the Fine Brothers, in which the duo do exactly what they set out to: reveal one hundred movie endings within four minutes. It's like the logical extension to that spoiler T-shirt that made the rounds a while back, and while the Meg Ryan streak they demonstrate (you'll see) is telling enough (not to mention the sports movie bits), I could see them pulling pretty much off the same thing with Drew Barrymore -- not that it's their fault, more so the industry's. (Oh, and this video is pretty much exactly what I get for not having seen Wild Things by this point in my life.)

And for those so inclined as to watch the same thing, only with the brothers naked, click here and, um, enjoy. (SPOILER ALERT! They're not wearing clothes!)

'Harry Potter 7' And All Its Secrets Leaked Online

Filed under: Action », Sci-Fi & Fantasy », RumorMonger », Fandom », Family Films », Home Entertainment », Remakes and Sequels »

I always like to pick up the stories no one else wants to write about. Partly because a story like this is sure to generate more than a few hateful comments, and I simply don't want any of my fellow Cinematical team members to feel the wrath. I like it when commenters say they hate me -- I don't know why; maybe I should see someone about that. Anyway, here's what I will not do in this post: 1) I will not link directly to the spoilers and 2) I will not give anything extremely important away. I will however include some minor spoilers, and will tell you when so you fans can stop reading at that point. Fair enough? With just about four days until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits bookstores, someone has leaked pretty much everything online. And unlike previous "leaks" (which I can say were completely false, according to this latest info), this person backs up everything with screenshots of the book, and actually offers up a lengthy Q&A explaining exactly what happens in great detail. Oh yes, this puppy is the real deal.

The good news is that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will make for one helluva final film. I've shared the info with someone who has read the books and watched the films (because I haven't), and they were pretty beside themselves. Begin Spoilers. You've been warned. The spoilers are starting now. Look away. When J.K Rowling said that two characters were going to die, it appears she wasn't lying. However, more than two characters die (some good and some bad), and the deaths that do occur will hurt. There are thirty-six chapters in the book, including an epilogue. The last chapter in the book is titled The Flaw in the Plan. And while I will not ruin the epilogue for you, let's just say Rowling ends the story for good. I'm going to stop there; if you're interested in knowing what happens, that info is now available online. Find Jeffrey; he knows. Happy hunting.

UPDATE: Folks are already providing major spoilers in the comments section of this post, so read at your own risk.

Major Spidey 3 Spoilers

There's nothing like having a highly-anticipated film ruined for you long before the pic is even set to hit theaters. With that said, I must warn you that the following information contains monumental Spider-Man 3 spoilers. And when I say monumental, I'm talking about who will live, who will die -- to put it plainly -- how the film will end. If you're the type of person who doesn't want to know those things ahead of time, then by all means do not continue reading ... or click on the link that I'm about to share with you. Understand? Spoilers. Lots of them. You've been warned.

So, Brendon over at Film Ick says he's been provided with "lots of information" with regards to the super duper finale in Spider-Man 3. I won't go into too much detail here, but let's just say a major fight takes place at a construction site (I imagine because there are plenty of metal things to swing off of) and a number of different characters are involved: Spidey, Sandman, Eddie Brock as Venom, Mary Jane, Sandman's daughter and Harry Osborn. Brendon shovels out as many details as he can regarding the battle (some of it is speculation since his source only provided him with so much information), but all of it makes sense.

And, based on what goes down at that construction site, it certainly raises a lot of questions -- mainly, would a Spider-Man 4 even be worth it?

Superman Returns - Huge Spoilers!

Filed under: RumorMonger », Comic/Superhero/Geek », Remakes and Sequels »

"Just before the holidays," writes Robert Sanchez at iesb.net, "We received this email from a very reliable source that spoils the hell out of Superman Returns." He goes on to post the first third of the email (parts two and three are coming in the days ahead, apparently), and it offers a VERY detailed look at all the plot nooks and crannies of Bryan Singer's superfilm, which has heretofore been super underwraps. I'll not ruin the day of anyone spoiler shy by saying too much, but if it's legit, there's some pretty interesting stuff going on, from a handful of direct references to Richard Donner's original, to an apparent paternity drama that could get really messy.

Harry Potter Spoilers from Ralph Fiennes

Ralph Fiennes, currently shilling to be what looks so far to be the most overrated film of the year, dropped a sort-of spoiler on his role in the next Harry Potter film whilst talking to CBS News. Close thine eyes if such things make you pissy. "It's just one big scene at the end of the movie," Fiennes says. "Lord Voldemort appears for the first time, in something of a kin to human form, I can't give too much away but I had a great time filming it. I'm very, very mean to Harry Potter, very mean." And I'm sure the little wand-waver deserves it.
