Perhaps Marisa Tomei liked all the publicity she got from shedding her clothes in Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (for practically the entire first half of the film), because the gal seems to be looking for some more provocative projects. Now before I link to the Variety story, I have to give JoBlo credit because they coughed this one up last week in what appeared to be a random throwaway line that took me by surprise. Yes, Tomei will star as an aging stripper, and girlfriend to Mickey Rourke, in Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler. And Variety has just confirmed it. Phew. Back when JoBlo casually mentioned it, I thought I was the only one who didn't know about this casting. Apparently no one did.

The Wrestler stars Rourke as an over-the-hill 1980s-era pro wrestler who retires after a heart attack, but then fights his way back into the ring for one last chance at defeating his arch-nemesis. Tomei will play his girlfriend, the stripper, and throughout the film our wrestler will attempt to build a relationship with her son. Talk about a dysfunctional family right there. "Yeah, my mom's a stripper and her boyfriend is an over-the-hill wrestler. You should see the moves they put on one another when I'm not looking." Production is currently taking place in New York and New Jersey. So, how much Tomei nudity do you think we'll get this time around?

We've already been treated to some tasty Lindsay Lohan video from her upcoming horror film I Know Who Killed Me, and now IGN has officially turned up the heat -- providing a few more photos for all you horny boys to feast upon. In the flick, Lohan plays a stripper (but not the kind who really takes her clothes off, unfortunately), and based on these newly-released pole dancing shots, she certainly looks the part. I imagine only the Joker wears more red lipstick than this chick. Along with these two stripper pics, IGN also has a bunch more which show Lohan hiding from a potential attacker, as well as flaunting a nifty red coat. Half of them evoke a sexy, creepy vibe, while the others could easily be included in a Macy's Fall Attire catalog.

Due to hit theaters July 27, I Know Who Killed Me follows the story of a girl who's abducted and tortured by a serial killer. (Yup, we're covering lots of new ground with this one, folks.) Except, when she finally manages to escape, she claims to be someone else and says that the girl everyone has been looking for is still in danger. So far, all we've gotten as far as marketing goes are a poster, a weird video blog (hosted by the fictional abductor) and a trailer (that I completely missed before spotting it on Moviefone while writing this post). I'm not sure whether Lohan will be doing press for the film or if it will conflict with her rehab time, but let's hope I Know Who Killed Me provides a different, more psychological spin on the crop of female torture flicks currently invading our local theaters.

There are certain questions that don't really need to be asked, the answer so obviously being "yes." "Would you like a million dollars? is one of them. "Could I interest you in another piece of cake?" would be another. And today brings the ultimate: "Want to see video of Lindsay Lohan stripping?" Yeah. I thought so. Over at Sony Pictures' site for the upcoming horror flick I Know Who Killed Me (which we first told you about the other day), the marketing geniuses (seriously -- geniuses) have posted a variety of "video blogs," from what seems to be the point of view of someone stalking the Lohan character. There's a fairly ludicrous paragraph of introduction across the top that says: "This is my video blog. Here I will share with you how an evolved mind works. Perfection doesn't come from not getting caught, it comes from wisdom that pain teaches us. Come back each week over the next month and I will show you more." And "show you more" Lohan does!

The site has a variety of short scenes from the film, each with a pretentious description. Let's face it, the one you're looking for is the most recent, titled "I'll take it all off: See her as she is, as she wants to be seen." Now settle down, fellas. She doesn't take it all off. There's no nudity here. But there is La Lohan, in some pretty skimpy underwear, dancing very provocatively. If you want to see the Full Lohan, you can assemble a mental image from the hundreds of red-carpet boob-slips and crotch flashes, this is a bit more...dare I say...tasteful? You have to enter your date of birth to get access to the site -- they need proof that you're 18 years old. I always found those age verifications on porn sites so hilarious, as though a kid can't figure out that he just needs to enter an earlier date! Oh, and here's the link to the striptease, by the way. I knew if I posted it up top, no one would read the article, they'd just start sweating and clicking frantically. Lord knows I did.

Recently, (actress?) Lindsay Lohan has gone on record saying she's all about taking on more serious roles. In fact (and I quote): "I want to get a nomination. I want to win an Oscar. I want to be known for more than, like, going out ... I bust my ass when I'm filming and when I have time off, yeah, I like to go out and dance." Well, the good news is that La Lohan has finally found a role in which she can utilize her strongest assets -- those being her sexy body and the desire to dance. The bad news ... well, I guess if you're a horny teenage boy, then there is no bad news here. While appearing on The David Letterman Show last night, Lohan confessed that she'll be playing a stripper in her next film, I Know Who Killed Me. Oh, and I should also mention that her character will be kidnapped, tortured and have her legs cut off. (Yup, here's where we need to do a background check on screenwriter Jeff Hammond.)

When asked more about her stripper role, Lohan said the audience will be seeing "a lot" of her, and that the pic is a "really dark, scary film." Hmm, so will Lohan be taking it all off in the name of an Oscar nomination (someone forgot to tell her that torture flicks aren't necessarily the type of material Academy voters are attracted to)? Or, will we get another Demi Moore-type performance, a la Striptease. Damn that flick! And damn you Demi! Oh c'mon, you know this film just moved up a few notches on your radar -- I mean, who wouldn't want to see La Lohan's naked disfigured attractive body dance around a pole? Heh, now all those nights out at Scores strip joint here in New York City make a whole lot more sense. She was doing research! Well guys, you won't have to hold your breath for too long, as Saw meets a naked (but more serious!) Lindsay Lohan (aka I Know Who Killed Me) arrives in theaters on July 27.
